Postage Stamps:
Design and Redesign

 
The German Federal Ministry of Finance regularly hosts design competitions for new postage stamps. Using an actual brief from one of these competitions, I redesigned an existing stamp and created entirely new stamps on a self-chosen theme.














Two postage stamps feature Frank Lloyd Wright's last work of art: The Civic Center of Marin County. This project allowed me to explore architectural design and its representation in a small format.


I chose to redesign the postage stamp for the telephone helpline "Telefonseelsorge" that was published in 2021. Instead of only showing the dial number, I wanted to depict the selfless act of support and assistance.
